The Center for Human Services at UC Davis Extension offers many additional training workshops, including:

  • The Interactive Interview
  • Maintaining Professional Objectivity, Composure and Boundaries
  • Safety and Self-care

Fees

Fees for on-site training include the costs of program development, delivery and evaluation. Training programs, workshops and institutes can be provided on a contract or direct bill basis.

Professional credit

Upon request, many Center programs can be made available for professional continuing education credit. The Center is a Board of Behavioral Sciences continuing education provider and is approved by the California Psychological Association to offer continued education courses for psychologists. The Center is also a continuing education provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing and California Board of Corrections.

Participants may also earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs). Many employers and re-licensing entities accept CEUs as evidence of a commitment to career advancement and maintenance of professional competence. One CEU is awarded for every 10 hours of class time.
